Obtaining an API key

Learn how to obtain an API, which facilitates authentication and connections with Virtue's platform, using the Portal

You can obtain an API key (and secret key) through the Portal that you can subsequently use to generate an access token using the APIs.

This enables you to connect the front end of your external device or application to Affective Computing by Virtue.

To obtain an API key, do the following:

1. Log in to the Portal.

1. In the left-hand sidebar, click API keys.

2. At the top right of the page, click Generate API key.

You receive an API key and a secret code called the secret key.
