User management

Learn about how Affective Computing manages both internal and external users.

From the perspective of Affective Computing by Virtue's framework, the following types users can interact with the platform:

  • Internal users, such as clients or tenants who use the Portal. Typically, clients are represented by the team that develops the solution and tenants are represented by the team that consumes the solution, provides it to end-users, and observes its performance. Both clients and tenants can add users to their teams in the Portal.

  • External users are the end-users of a Virtue-powered solution. Each end-user must first be declared (introduced) in the system using our APIs for EDAA™ (our underlying framework) to generate personalized actions for them.

As the type only indicates the functional role of each user when working with the solution, the same person can assume the role of both an internal and external user in the respective circumstances. However, they must be declared in the appropriate manner.
