Creating a project

Learn how to create a project using the Portal.

To create a project, do the following:

  1. Log in to the Portal.

  1. In the left sidebar, navigate to Projects.

  2. In the upper-right corner, click + Create.

Name

The name of the project.

(Mandatory) Enter a name.

Domain

The domain in which your solution would operate.

(Mandatory) Select an option.

Function

The project's function, based on the selected domain.

(Mandatory) Select an option.

Clone Project

Determines whether the new project is a clone of an existing one. For example, when simulating an experience in a solution, you can clone the project you used for raw data collection to ensure that the parameterization of both projects is uniform.

(Optional) If you want to clone an existing project, select the existing project.

  1. In the Interaction Setups section, select input data types to set up interactions. For information about the the different input data types supported, see Defining data inputs.

  1. Click Save.

When creating a project, you can also configure the following parameters:

Is Recurring User

Determines whether end-users will interact with EDAA™ only once or multiple times over the course of running the project.

(Optional) Select the checkbox if end-users need to interact with the solution multiple times.

Product Calibration Status

Determines whether the project will run in product calibration mode. Note: This can be turned on and off after creating the project depending on whether or not you want to run the project in this mode.

(Optional) Select the checkbox to enable product calibration mode. For detailed information, see Running a solution in product calibration mode.

Is Project Managed By API Or Portal

Determines whether the project will be managed using the Portal or using APIs.

  • To configure project management through APIs, select the checkbox.

  • To configure project management through the Portal, clear the checkbox.
